Maximum punishment for death in road accidents is 5 years in jail

If he or she is seriously injured or killed in a car accidentally or neglected, then a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment or a fine or both will be imposed. However, if it is found in the investigation, the motive will be punished according to the Bangladesh Penal Code 302. That means the death penalty will be punished.
