দুষ্টের দমন আর সৃষ্টের পালন এর লক্ষ্যে এই দিনে ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণের আবির্ভাব ঘটেছিল এই সুন্দর পৃথিবীতে। যাহার মাঝে মিলিত আছে সমস্ত দেব-দেবীর প্রকাশ। তিনিই সত্য, তিনিই চিরন্তন। ভগবান শ্রীকৃষ্ণ বিষ্ণুর অবতার। তিনি যুগাবতার। অনেক উৎসাহ উদ্দীপনা ও নব কলেবরে এই দিনটি সমস্ত হিন্দু সম্প্রদান পালন করছে।
